You should know, however, that TLAS cannot fully eliminate such risks. TLAS hopes TLAS’ Privacy Policy clarifies its collection, use and disclosure of your information including Personal Information. Please note that when we send you an email message, the information contained in it (or any attachment) is likely to be confidential and legally privileged. It is intended only for the person named in the email. In the event that you receive a message in error, please immediately notify us and delete it. Any dissemination, distribution, copying, disclosure or use of any email message or its contents unless authorized by TLAS is strictly prohibited.

We cannot guarantee the integrity or suitability of any email for your computer, devices or systems. It is possible that our message to you might contain destructive programs known as viruses or worms and we would advise you that we do not accept any liability for consequential effects caused to your computer, or others connected to it and that you should determine the likelihood of such content yourself.

Business emails are sent to you subject to our usual terms of business. When the content of an email is a personal message, the sender is not acting in his/her capacity as a partner, contractor or employee of TLAS.

8. ADVERTISING

Our site is not intended to be an advertisement for legal services or solicitation of clients except in those jurisdictions where specific regulations governing the practice of law define advertising to include websites. TLAS is neither advertising legal services nor representing that any TLAS person holds the authorizations and permissions necessary to provide legal advice in all jurisdictions in which the information contained on our site may be received.

9. VIRUSES/HARMFUL CODE

We do not guarantee that our site will be secure or free from bugs, viruses or harmful code or similar issues.

11. JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LAW: ADDITIONAL DISCLOSURES

We designate, to the extent that any jurisdiction requires designation, Tamara Thompson as the lawyer responsible for this site.

Any disputes concerning this site and the information in or use of it shall be governed by the internal laws of the state of California, U.S.A. (without regard to conflicts of law principles), and any proceeding which may arise out of or in connection with this site shall be brought solely in a court in Santa Clara County, California, U.S.A. That being said, TLAS has the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these conditions in your country of residence or any other relevant country, and in such a case, TLAS may request that the applicable local laws be applied to the governance of these conditions.
