Tamara and her team have extensive experience in the areas of angel, seed round and institutional venture capital financings. They have worked on over one thousand transactions across the US, the UK and other geographies since the firm started in 2000. In 2015 alone, they completed over 90 deals. Technical precision, practicality, efficiency and speed are a key focus of the firm. Tamara and her team have a depth of UK and Silicon Valley knowledge, combined with a broad range of experience doing deals across multiple jurisdictions.

Tamara and her team have represented angel investors, start-ups, venture capital firms, and corporate and strategic investors on a wide range of financing transactions. They also specialize in working on secondary sales and exits (buy-side and sell-side) for founders and investors. In addition, they frequently advise investors on ongoing portfolio company matters. They have also assisted company-side clients on numerous debt transactions (including venture debt).

They also advise other firms outside the US from time to time on US securities law matters in financings and other transactions involving US issuers or US investors. They have also supported in-house legal teams doing deals and covering portfolio company matters on a dedicated basis with additional capacity and overall coverage during especially busy times, leaves or transitions in staffing.

Tamara and her team’s past experience includes working at top law firms in the San Francisco Bay Area / Silicon Valley and London. Tamara as well as several of her team members have worked as in-house counsel of companies that have sought and obtained financing at various stages.
