Tamara and her team have extensive experience in the areas of private equity, venture capital angel and seed round fundings, as well as venture debt transactions. They have represented venture capital, corporate and angel investors, start-ups as well as larger companies and law firms in US, Europe and other locations in hundreds of transactions, ranging from seed round financings to large syndicated private equity transactions.

In addition to handling the legal work and ensuring that the client’s interests are well represented and protected, Tamara and her team’s objective is to help the transaction go as smoothly as possible from a relationship standpoint, and proceed quickly and efficiently in terms of overall cost and resource expenditures.

Tamara as well as the rest of her team have worked with top law firms in the San Francisco Bay Area and have also worked as inside counsel of companies that have sought and obtained financing. They frequently represent investors on initial investment financing rounds, follow-on rounds and on ongoing portfolio company management matters. As a result, they appreciate the dynamics that can be present at the company’s executive team and board level, among investors and existing shareholders, and the need in all cases to plan for and manage these dynamics throughout the financing process and on an ongoing basis, if and when engaged in portfolio company matters.

In addition, given their international experience, they also appreciate the different legal and cultural perspectives and issues that can arise in financing transactions and with companies on an ongoing basis when there are companies, investors and differing advisors located in multiple jurisdictions.
